Hi,

I purchased Apple AirPods from Tre on November 28, 2024, with the serial number SDFMQ6XL69D. The very next day, I noticed an issue with the right AirPod, which I reported and submitted to the Tre store for resolution on November 30, 2024.

On December 9, 2024 I received a call from one of the agents to discuss the problem. During the conversation, the agent acknowledged the issue and informed me that a new pair of AirPods would be provided as a replacement.

However, when I visited the Tre store yesterday, I was handed back the same set of AirPods without any resolution to the reported problem.

Does some one has encountered a similar issue and how to get it resolved. Please see the image below of the right Airpod which is clearly visible.

Please note that I purchased a second pair of Airpods on the same day (serial number SCWWR4Y35FJ), and neither the right nor the left pod has any scratches. This confirms that the scratch on the right pod of the Airpods with serial number SDFMQ6XL69D is not a standard plastic cut but rather a manufacturing defect.

I’m sorry to hear that the replacement has a defect, I totally understand your dissapointment.

In this case, I recommend contacting our customer service to look into this further - it’s good to have the screenshots ready in order for the customer representative to have what they to proceed with your errand.
