Hello, 

I came to Bangladesh with my med 3 Värden  Abona många but I cannot find my phone internet and my calls do not to through. When I go on the app, I see that the Romio charge is 6000 something krona? Why is this? Please help me with this issue because I am feeling stressed out and panicked.

Since this is a public forum, I can’t see the exact reason why this has happened. The most likely explanation for why you can’t use internet or make calls is the roaming charge of 6000 SEK. Your subscription has a cost limit which, once reached, will block the subscription to prevent further charges – meaning you won’t be able to use internet or make calls.

Bangladesh is included in the 3Världen service, so your subscription should work there as long as you have 3Världen activated and don’t reach the cost limit. The limit may be reached if you use your phone on a boat, for example. This is because of satellite roaming, which costs 150 SEK/MB (data). I recommend contacting our customer service so they can explain exactly what happened and help you further.

Hello there, åå

I am aware that 3Världen is included in Bangladesh, so why would I get a charge of 6000SEK if I have not used any form of internet in Bangladesh. I have used your line for 4 years and I really like your line so I hope you can kindly help me with this issue because I feel very nervous and panicked. Thank you so much.

@Ruhul_A Since this is a public forum, I can’t answer customer specific questions. I can only give you general information, and speculate why this has happened. Make sure to contact our customer service, and they’ll help you explain the charges, as well as correct any errors 🙂


I have a similar issue and I’m a little panicked as well: I just landed in China and I switched on my data as I have 3Världen and China is meant to be included, but within 1 minute I got several SMS from Tre stating that I was close to the limit of roaming and immediately thereafter reached my roaming limit. At the same time I got a “welcome to Tre ships and planes” plan and 60 seconds later got “welcome to China” (where 100GB roaming is included). Because of that hiccup, whatever that was, I am now left with zero data here in China, it’s Dec 25 so Tre customer service is unreachable both today and tomorrow (and who knows about the 27th) and the AI chatbot is not really helpful, it told me Tre doesn’t support data in China, whereas the website says otherwise. I am now relying on public Wifi around Guangzhou to be able to transfer money, look at maps, take Taxis… This is not why I switched to 3Världen. Do I need to buy a local eSIM to get through the holidays, and will 3 reimburse me for both that inconvenience, as well as the 500kr+ that is now on my upcoming bill because of the 60 seconds of it connecting to boat & plane instead of local towers??

Unfortunately it’s difficult to go into specifics here as this is a public forum, but from what I can ascertain, it sounds like data has been used either while on a plane and/or in a country where data isn’t included which leads to a temporary block. This should be resolved as it’s the start of a new month, but please reach out to us if the problem persists 😊

Thank you - after 4 days I finally got ahold of customer support and they removed the block and I could roam again.
