I moved my number from another carrier and now an error message appears on my phone that says ‘this number is no longer associated with iMessage and FaceTime’. The number is correctly listed on ‘phone’ settings so might have something to do with the original sim card number but nothing I can do about that. Any ideas?

Hey @JeppePeppe , hoping you might know the answer to this one? Screenshot of the error attached. the registered number is the correct number for the service ported into Tre from another carrier. Could there be a conflict between the original simcard number vs the activated/ported number causing this issue?

 


Hey, my partner had the same issue a while back. I just “restarted” iMessage. 
And then it just started working again. But, sometimes you have to remove it from imessage and start the process over.
